Feng Shui Liu Fa ("Six Methods") Case Studies
| ESOTERIC FENG SHUIISFENG SHUI LIU FA ("SIX METHODS")In the 1940's, master T'an Yang Wu became the 'modern day' founder of Feng Shui Liu Fa after learning it from the Taoist priest, Lee Chen Xu, in 1929. After learning from the Taoist priest, TYW (T'an Yang Wu) went into silence, studied, and experimented with Liu Fa by himself for 8 years. After that time, he chose to teach the sacred science to only a select group of students. In addition, he gave away the old "Flying Star" books he had written before learning Liu Fa, (what is today also called the "Flying Star" method. This method is NOT the same thing as Liu Fa.) In fact, TYW made a public apology in a major Chinese newpaper during his time, explaining that he no longer believed in what we know today as the "Flying Star" method, at all. Liu Fa (Six Methods) consists of the following applications used in conjunction with each other: A. XUAN KONG (Flying Stars- Stars of the Big Dipper) In this day and age, I am personally aware of only one Feng Shui Liu Fa (Six Methods) master that teaches FSLF, (Feng Shui Liu Fa) and his name is Mr. Jacky Cheung (张岩峰先生). Right now he has very few students. He has said before, "The student is looking for his Master, and the Master looking for his student." This is an age-old process for keeping profane knowledge away from the general public who might knowingly, or accidently, abuse it. Mr. Jacky Cheung is an active LF Master who places importance on both LF's Li-Qi (theories) and Landforms. He promotes 'real case studies' as a means to proving the authenticity of Liu Fa and Landform. Assisted by his students and close friends, Mr. Jacky Cheung established his own website in 2005, the "Liu Fa Feng Shui Forum" at www.fengshui-liufa.com. While most of his site is in Chinese, he does have an English forum and those who speak English are encouraged to join as a member, (membership is free and there are no ads or junk mail associated with it), and perhaps introduce yourself and let yourself be known. A lot of beginning FSLF theory has already been posted in English, and there are some case studies posted there to read as well. While there are other students of the late Master T'an Yang Wu, they are rare to find. To my knowledge, there is not even one FSLF master that holds the "true" lineage from TYW, living or working, on the North American continent. |

IN
ESOTERIC FENG SHUI: When auditing a case numerous aspects surrounding the exterior and the interior environment of your dwelling are analyzed and considered before a solution is applied to adjust your condition. Luan Tou (landform) and Li-Qi (invisible energy in the atmosphere) are two of the considerations. A key element to Esoteric Feng shui is that there is only one Li-Qi system for dwellings, graves and landforms. Things inside of your home to be aware of are: door, window, heater, air conditioner, air vent, and fan locations. More importantly is to study the outside environment. Basically, determining the effects of the quality and flow of qi on the occupants is paramount. |
